Meet Kent Barnard

Kent Barnard brings more than three decades of technology experience to OBx Solutions. His background includes six years in the U.S. Navy’s advanced electronics field, with studies in electronics, communications, computer engineering, and advanced control systems.

After his military service, Kent continued his computer science education at Macon College and worked with industrial computer systems as a process control technician at Riverwood International. By 1996, he was co-owner of American Control Systems, a Macon-based computer network engineering and consulting firm.

That broad technical foundation informs the thinking behind OBx: “Outside the Box.” Kent looks at how people, systems, and business goals connect, helping clients make practical technology decisions with the bigger picture in mind.
